There is nothing like the sport of surfing and learning to surf is exciting and fun! FCA Surf offers private or group surfing lessons if our surf camps don’t fit into your schedule or needs. Every surf lesson is tailored to meet your surfing ability level. Private lessons are best in the morning or early evening since there are usually less crowds which makes for an easier and fun experience.
For your safety and to maximize your surfing experience, the lessons are taught by experienced instructors and FCA SURF is licensed and insured.
A loaner surfboard and rash guard are included with your lesson or you may bring your own board. Make sure that you have a minimum of 1 1/2 hours in your schedule for a lesson.
We recommend that you call or text us to make an appointment as early as possible so that we may accommodate you.

What to Bring
- Water bottle
- Surf Gear
- Modest Swimsuit
- Board Shorts or Lycra Shorts/ Jammers (Under Armour/Spandex)
- Waterproof non-migrating 30 SPF Sunscreen
Location
Surf lessons are located at the South End of Ocean City, NJ at 59th Street Beach (look for the FCA Surf trailer)
Parking Lot -South of the Public Restrooms at 59th Street.

Please complete online and sign for each participant.
Present confirmation to your instructor.
Fitness
Participants must be able to endure a highly vigorous physical workout that involves swimming and must have respect for the instructors. Safety is our highest priority.

Surfboards and Rash Guards are loaned to students for the duration of the lesson. FCA reserves the right to cancel lessons due to severe weather & waves, lightning or other conditions.
We love private groups! If you have a group larger than six please call for a quote. We cater to the specific needs of Private Parties, Birthdays, and many other events.
