Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP)

SUP stands for Stand Up Paddleboarding. SUP is a great sport that's been around for a long time in Hawaii. SUP offers surfers and non-surfers a great work out that will develop arm and shoulder strength while strengthening your core and your legs and providing additional balance. Catching a wave is even more exciting!

Years ago my friend Jerry from Walk Over Water SUP School introduced SUP to our campers in Ocean City NJ. I have to admit that once I tried it I was hooked!

Each summer we have SUP boards on hand for our campers for an introductory lesson if the conditions allow. Most of the students tried SUP on days that the surf was small and smooth. Everyone had a lot of fun and wanted more SUP time!

This summer we have designed special mini-camps and offer lessons just for SUP! Come on and let's go!
