FAQ
Surf Camp is an incredible day camp experience. Each day includes solid training from instructors, Bible studies, and much more.
Monday - Friday
The following items listed below are needed to complete your registration at check-in:
• Funds for Remaining Balance
• Student Participant Form (Online or Enclosed)
• Copy of Insurance Card
It is required for a “Student Participant Form” be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian in order to participate in activities at camp. If you enrolled online, you would have already completed this form.
However, if you enrolled by mail or telephone, you will need to complete the enclosed “Student Participate Form”, have it signed by a parent or legal guardian and bring with you to registration check-in.
Fees
All unpaid fees are due before check-in at Camp. Please bring a check payable to FCA for your remaining camp balance.
Cancellations can be made as late as the time of on-site check-in by calling the FCA Camp Office at 1-866-269-2267
.
All fees, EXCEPT A $50 CANCELLATION FEE will be refunded in August if you cancel your enrollment. After camp begins, there will be no refunds.
No refunds for inclement weather or for missed camp days.
Daily Activities
Arrive on time!
Daily activities include surf training, surf competitions, exercise, dynamic guest speakers, and small group bible studies.
Camp Give-Aways
As a 2013 CAMP ENROLLEE, you will receive a camp tee-shirt, lanyard/nametag, and a Bible upon arrival to Camp.
What to Wear and Bring
Modest attire is required at all times during camp. Surfboards and rashguards will be provided but wetsuits are not provided. Campers may bring their own boards along with their leash.
Each camper needs to bring their own waterproof sunscreen, water bottle, bagged lunch, and snack. Please be sure to label all personal items with first and last name in permanent marker.
Are You Insured?
FCA will only provide secondary insurance coverage for the camper during the stay at Camp. In case of injury or illness, campers will need to provide proof of insurance coverage at time of treatment. A photocopy of your insurance card will be sufficient. Campers not covered by family insurance will be cared for.
