FCA Surf Missions Trip to Nicaragua
This June marks the 1st FCA Surf International Missions Trip! A team of 5 men and women will travel to Nicaragua for 9 days to partner with FCA Nicaragua Director, Jeff Izzo. Jeff and his family moved to Nicaragua three years ago to grow Sports Ministry through FCA.
The team of 5 have all served with FCA Surf at the camps in Ocean City. They have expertise in teaching surfing and in sharing their faith both in the water and on land.
The goal of this international trip is to run a Surf Camp in Pochomil, an area full of youth who are beginning to be introduced to a personal relationship through Christ through the sport of Surfing. This will be the first Surf Camp in this area and certainly the first camp to share Christ. The team will also be involved in evening Surf Outreach to the community.
The team will be traveling with boards for local ministry, rash guards, leashes, and Bibles.

As the publisher for SurfNica Magazine, as well as other work in the Nicaraguan surf industry, Cèsar has gained the respect of many Nicaraguan surfers. He is excited to be able to share God’s love with surfers, as well as other athletes and coaches, through ministry as an FCA Associate in Nicaragua. He is presently raising his full support. “FCA surf in Nicaragua has been giving surfers in Pochomil access
to equipment, a sense of community among other surfers, and, most
importantly, an identity as surfers living for and growing in
Christ. We are blessed to be a part of God’s plan to unite surfers
for Him in Nicaragua.”Jeff Izzo, FCA Nicaragua
