FCA SURF CAMPS are more than just surf instruction. These camps are a powerful way to change the stereotype of surfers that are known for their selfishness, alcohol and drug abuse and moral depravity. Our service and commitment to the surrounding community changes those negative characteristics. We teach surfers to have respect for others, take care of their minds and bodies though exercise and proper nutrition, evaluate the media they expose themselves to and develop leadership and accountability. FCA SURF instills strong values by going deeper in these principles as we direct individuals to a loving relationship with Jesus Christ.

Day Camp

Day Camps are a great way to introduce you to the camp experience without going away overnight. For ages 8 –16. Students will meet new friends and enjoy our experienced surfing instructors that will attend to their needs individually in regards to their level of surfing ability. Surfboards, rash guards and snacks are provided. Students need to bring their own lunch and water. A camp Bible and surf camp shirt are included. Many of our students return every year to improve their surfing and just for the fun!

Student Requirements:

Students must be able to willingly endure a highly vigorous physical workout that involves swimming and must have respect for the power of the ocean, be in good health and willing to obey instructors and lifeguards.Students must know how to swim. Every effort will be made for safety in and out of the water. FCA reserves the right to cancel the camp due to severe weather & waves, lightning or other conditions.  Enrollment is first come first serve basis.

Overnight

Overnight camps are designed for ages Junior High and High School combined. We join in with FCA Sports Camps that are based at Universities where the accommodations and excellent evening programs that feature great motivating speakers and music. Boys and girls accommodations are in separate dorms and sports. Breakfast and dinner is provided at the university and Box lunches are provided for the day. Transportation to and from the beach is provided by the university. A FCA camp shirt and FCA Bible are included. These camps are an excellent life changing experience for your student.

Students must know how to swim. Every effort will be made for safety in and out of the water. Girls Camp

FCA GIRLS SURF CAMPS are a special week that is full of excitement, with surfing, surprises and a whole lot more that can change your life forever.  Our goal  at these SURFER GIRL CAMPS is for girls to recognize who God is in their lives and to see how He values them in a loving way that is positive and that girls don’t have to fit into the expectations and  media hype that’s  placed on girls today.  We instill back to basics values that allow girls to be happy in their own skin and to embrace the special attributes that God has given them.

FCA SURFER GIRL role models are mentors to come along side young women and girls to that they can experience true to life people that will speak truth into their lives that allows them to have freedom and to enjoy life at the age that they are at.

A FCA camp shirt and FCA Bible are included.  For girls and young women ages 9-17. This camp sells out first every summer!

 

Student Requirements:

Students must be able to willingly endure a highly vigorous physical workout that involves swimming and must have respect for the power of the ocean, be in good health and willing to obey instructors and lifeguards. Every effort will be made for safety in and out of the water. FCA reserves the right to cancel the camp due to severe weather & waves, lightning or other conditions. New Students–parents must contact the instructor for a brief interview before enrolling; call (609) 602-0610. If you participated in the 2009 camp there’s no need to call.  Enrollment is first come first serve basis.

Family & Adult Camp

Held in the early evening, these camps are excellent for family fun so that your surfing experience builds family memories together. Designed for everyone ages 8 through adult. Adults joining these camps will feel part of the family experience with the instruction designed for enjoyment and learning or improving your surfing. Space is limited as these camps are smaller. A FCA camp shirt and FCA Bible are included.

Boot Camp

Since the Summer of 2011 we are very excited to have Professional Surfer Noah Snyder's Boot Camp.

The camp is located in the Outer Banks - Kill Devil Hills, NC. These are high level surfing instructions and a an awesome amount of fun!
