FCA Surf Clubs

Nothing beats the camaraderie of surfing!  Its fun to surf with your friends. From the grassroots of surfing, surfers formed surfriding clubs and some of those still exist today. FCA Surfing Clubs have that same kind of spirit and they meet at the beach for a time of spiritual devotion, prayer, fellowship and for the love of surfing!

FCA Surf Clubs have great opportunities to give back to the community. Whether it’s for surfing lessons, contests, beach clean ups and promoting the healthy lifestyle of surfing, FCA Surf Clubs are there!

Leadership training, surf camps and liability insurance are some of the resources included with chartering an FCA Surf Club in your community. Contact us for more information to start an FCA SURF CLUB in your town.

FCA SURF CLUB MEETINGS

FCA Surf Club & Paddle Out

Saturday's 7:30am - 10:30am Oceanana Pier AB North Carolina

FCA SURF is launching a Surfing Club starting this Saturday. We welcome you, your youth, and anyone from your church to partner with us. We have several goals for this ministry: 1. Reach youth and adults through the sport of surfing. 2. Promote Biblical unity among the Christian surfing community. 3. Create a culture of service by giving back to the surf community. 4. Influence and impact youth and adults for Jesus Christ.
Here are a few things we need to get in place in order to accomplish these goals.
1. Adult leaders that model the life style of a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and who share our passion to reach people for Christ through the sport of surfing.
2. Several influential youth that demonstrates a passion for Christ and for the sport of surfing.
3. A committed core team
Here's the deal:
We will meet at Oceanana in the pier house at 7:30am each Saturday for breakfast (Dutch treat), devotion, and prayer. Waves and conditions permitting we will paddle out. Some of us will help to instruct those who want to learn to surf. On days when the surf is flat or we have poor conditions we will do a variety of service projects on the beach. On weekends that local contest are scheduled we will move our huddle to the contest location and operate as normal.
Please make this a matter of prayer. Invite others to join in and bring them with you.

Surfing Lessons Private and Group Lessons Atlantic Beach NC

There is nothing like the sport of surfing and learning to surf is exciting and fun! FCA Surf offers private or group surfing lessons if our surf camps don't fit into your schedule or needs. Every surf lesson is tailored to meet your requirements. Private lessons are held in the early evening or later in the afternoon as there are usually less crowds which make for an easier and fun experience.

You will have a great experience and a lot of fun. For your safety and to maximize your surfing experience, use a qualified surf instructor. FCA SURF is licensed and insured and is the only NSSIA Certified Surfing Instruction in the area!

A surfboard and rash guard of course comes with your lesson or may use your own board. Make sure that you have a minimum of 1 1/2 hours for a lesson.

We recommend that you call us to make an appointment as early as possible so that we may accommodate you. Contact Rob Pate at 252-342-6990 for more information.
