What is FCA?
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is an interdenominational Christian organization that for more than 53 years has been focused on the purpose: “To present to athletes and coaches, and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church”.

Where do we meet?
Camps meet on the first morning in the Gazebo at 58th Street at 8AM Sharp on the first day for registration & morning instruction. We surf at 57th Street Beach in Ocean City NJ. Parents should pick up their kids at 57th Street Beach after camp. Public Restrooms are located at 59th Street.
Student requirements
Students must be able to endure a vigorous highly physical workout that involves swimming and must have respect for the power of the ocean, be in good health and willing to obey instructors and lifeguards. Camp does not include swimming lessons. Every effort will be made for safety in and out of the water. Instructor/FCA reserves the right to cancel the camp due to severe weather and waves, lightning or other conditions.
New students/parents must contact the instructor for a brief interview before enrolling (609) 602-0610. If you particpated in the 2007 camp there is no need to call. Enrollment is first come first serve basis.
What to bring checklist
o A healthy lunch & large water jug (for day camps) NO SODA, NO ENERY DRINKS and NO JUNK!
o Girls - a modest swimsuit appropriate for the activity of surfing Boys-cotton is rotten- tighty whities and cotton boxers will cause rashes! Good board shorts and surfing under-gear are a good investment, found in most surfshops
o T-shirt & hat
o Flip-flops
o Towel(s)
o Waterproof sunscreen minimum 30 SPF non-migrating & lip balm
o Sunglasses
o Backpack with your name or name tag on it. Leave electronics home
o You can bring your own surfboard with a leash or borrow our surfboards ** If you are over 12 years old, you will need a beach tag in Ocean City, not included in camp cost, They CAN BE PURCHASED ON THE BEACH
